After spending years as a broadcast engineer for the esteemed CBS television network in Los Angeles, Erren discovered a higher calling in the law. Determined to pursue this newfound passion, Erren bid farewell to California and set his sights on the Lone Star State.
Erren’s academic pursuits reflect his dedication to excellence. He earned his undergraduate degree in English from the University of California, Irvine before embarking on his legal education at the South Texas College of Law in Houston, where he obtained his law degree. Seeking to further specialize in an area of great importance to society, Erren received an LL.M. in Health Law from the University of Houston Law Center.
Erren joined Hagans in 2023, bringing with him substantial experience in a diverse range of cases, with a primary focus on serious personal injury cases as well as commercial disputes encompassing contracts, real estate, oil and gas pipelines, construction, health, and insurance matters. Whether engaged in courtroom battles or navigating complex negotiations, Erren enjoys challenging litigation issues. His track record speaks for itself, having successfully prosecuted and defended a multitude of litigation matters to the finish line.
Erren was honored to be selected as a Texas Super Lawyer – Rising Star by Thomson Reuters from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, he has been distinguished as one of National Trial Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 from 2018 to 2023.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Erren finds fulfillment in sharing his knowledge and nurturing future legal professionals. He served as an Adjunct Professor at Lone Star College, teaching in the Paralegal Studies Program, and also held the position of Adjunct Professor of Advocacy at South Texas College of Law, where he had the privilege of coaching the law school’s moot court teams to two national titles.
