Fred has made his reputation in taking complex and difficult cases, leading the firm in representing hundreds of clients in high value disputes. Fred has tried more than 100 cases to verdict or judgment. During more than 40 years, Fred has represented individuals and families as well as small companies and Fortune 100 corporations. Fred has represented those clients in trials, arbitrations, and appeals involving complex commercial disputes and serious personal injury/wrongful death claims.
Fred has been honored by his peers with numerous awards and honors. Fred is frequently invited to speak on ethics, professionalism, and the way to properly prepare and try cases. He was appointed co-chair of the Texas Supreme Court Professionalism Committee that wrote the Texas Lawyer’s Creed. Fred is double board certified, by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law.
In addition to managing a busy docket, administering a thriving firm, and promoting ethics and professionalism in the legal profession, Fred is actively involved with JDRF (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), where he has served as president, a member of the board, and member of the advisory board.
