Fraud

  • A Mexican company borrowed millions of dollars to build out its production facility based on agreements made with a purchasing company. When that company repudiated its promises and agreements with the Mexican company, though, the Mexican company began looking for lawyers. It hired Kendall Montgomery to file a lawsuit in San Antonio based on the fraudulent representations and failure to inform the Mexican company that there were other negotiations going on at the time it believed an agreement was reached and it began spending money in accordance with those agreements. The San Antonio jury agreed that the defendant companies committed fraud. The case settled while on appeal.
